The Platinums are not to impressive out of the box, the Masters are really cool and worth writing about and hope some find this helpful.Amazon just dropped the price of the Truck, which around $40 is not a bad deal. I paid less and would wait for a price break on the Buggy or Stadium Truck unless you are really poised on finding one. I have only spent a few charges of NiMh batteries with them, but my son and I have some fun chasing and running over things together. The controller is a little complex for beginners and does take some tweaking from time to time to get right, but what else is new with a toy. Steering can get querkey in small rooms, though steering trim and radius control feature is a plus. Upgrades are hard to find, went to a Hobby Town Shop and found nothing, though did observe other RC 4WD cars are no where near this price. I am not a specialist on...Read more |
