I ran my 1/16 E-Revo (not brushless) with this connector and it flew, but with all the extra power it heated up the motor quick!

i have just figured out the difference between the "series" and the "parrallel" harness... DO NOT BUY YHE SERIES HARNESS unless you are prepared to change gearing... this one doubles the voltage to the motor and will burn it up.This should be in RED letters so we,the ppl would kmow other things have to be modified. The parrallel runs the batteries together,same voltage,longer lasting power.I really don't think it made much difference in run time,maybe a few minutes.You should buy the higher series 2,3,or 4 still just 7.2 volts. why buy the harness and another fourty dollar and up battery,just spend a little more and get the 2,3,4 and get the same results,enjoy... :-)

The series battery connection can only be used with specific batteries and only on specific cars - typically brushless motor models (the limitations are outlined on the Traxxas web site). Having said that, you still need to monitor motor heat if your repeatedly accelerating rapidly in your driving.
