This motor arrived well packaged and very clean. Instructions were very easy to follow to install this motor into a Traxxas Slash 4x4. While I'm less than impressed with the set screws on Traxxas Pinion gears (not included with this product), this motor runs flawlessly and powerfully battery after battery, without getting too hot. I use 7.2 and 8.4V batteries, and the motor takes what all the batteries can give and says, "Is that all!?!?" The 3500Kv rating means that for every volt applied to the motor, it will turn 3500RPM. So a 7.2V battery will, in ideal conditions, allow the motor to reach 25200RPM, with the maximum 11.1V packs pushing around 38850RPM. This motor is well balanced, and when properly mounted and installed, will NOT be the weak link in your drive train. 5 minutes into using this motor it failed and locked up. I was driving it near my apartment in the parking lot when it juststopped working.
