Bought this to Charge the batteries for my erevo vxl. Charges the higher mah batteries 1600mah) i bought quicker than advertised and seems to do a nice job getting them to peak. Im pretty happy with it at this point. It would have been nice if it had dual charge leads but for the money its sufficient.

I got this charger after I got really tired of charging my series 1 batteries for 5-7 hours each(4) I would be able to do 2 runs on each of my RC cars (slash1/16)(e-revo1/16). It was silly to take 12 hours to charge 2 batteries with charger traxxas sends with the vehicle. I was a bit skeptical at first because 1 and 2 amps doesn't sound like much and I was looking at far more expensive chargers originally. However, I looked at the crappy charger I got with the car and saw it only charges 0.3 amps! So I thought, its only $30 I will take a gamble and if it doesn't work out well, I'll buy an expensive one. Well, so far this thing has performed fine, LED indicator tells you when it's done, and you can start charging your next battery. Now I make a run and after the batteries cool down, I charge them again, while I make another run. I can do 3 runs a day with no problem. Fun never stops! Very nice, simple charger. Only works with NiMH an NiCad batteries. Has a switch for 1 or 2 ampere charging and an easy to read LED light that blinks green when ready, solid red when charging and solid green when charging is complete; blinks red when the battery is possibly bad. The manual says it will charge batteries from 6-9.6VDC and automatically selects the correct voltage range when it's connected to a battery. I've only used this once so far but it was an easy setup.
