Product Description
The Traxxas connector is easier to handle than old-style connectors with large, easy to grip surfaces. The feel is silky- smooth as the contact surfaces glide together. The superior design provides multiple levels of protection making it virtually impossible to make a backwards connection or short the terminals. They are easy to assemble with molded-in wire shrouds that eliminate the need and extra steps to install heat shrink tubing.

This adapter is a great solution in case you don't want to break up the original TRA plug that came with the Stampede (3605) in case you want to use the cheaper Tamiya conector battery.
Also, in this side of the world is still more popular the Tamiya type than the TRA conector.

This adaptor did what I needed it to do, converted the Traxxas high current connector over so I was able to charge with my battery charger. The Molex end of adaptor is not a high current connection. This is good for charging but not good if you plan on running on a high amp draw electronic system, can have melt down as it's just not capible of passing a lot of current efficiently

Well, it works fine, but it had a warning about not exceeding the molex connector's amp rating.
