This fan does an excellent job of keeping your motor temperatures on your electric vehicle in check.

I always gear to a safe temperature, but I'm paranoid about it, so I add the fan to the motor anyways. At the end of a 5300mah 2s LiPo pack, I was seeing temps of around 155-160 on an 80 degree day. Not bad at all.

But with the fan?? Those temps in the same type of ambient conditions drop to around 133-137. So that's a 22 degree drop in temperature, which is great!!!

This little fan looks good and it does move air. However, I had to add some thermal paste between it and my motor to make sure I got a tight fit in between them. It would be nice if the fan was stronger but this beats having nothing on there. If you can find one cheap I say go for it. I have one in my Rustler and in my Slash 4wd. The bad thing is that this is not waterproof. I have to remove it if I ever want to spray down my cars after using them.

if you just need a heat sink then get one but the fan smoked on mine in the first 20 seconds and im not the only one this has happened to some of the integy stuff is ok but this isnt one of those things ,,you can do better
