Syma S107 Metal Gyro RC Helicopter Balance Bar

The original balance bar that came with the helicopter broke on the 2nd crash. I ordered 6 of these balance bars because I thought that I would be breaking them left and right. However as I got to be a better pilot I crashed less and less serious. I'm glad I ordered 6 though as I have 2 S107's and I did not want any down time if the bar should break again. I'm extremely happy with the product and its quality. I'm also extremely happy with the delivery time and the service from the vendor and would order any parts I need from them again.

Bought this to replace my S107. Unfortunately, it is not balanced.
I didn't realize this is not the orignal version. Found out something is wrong when

1. Pin is too big for this bar. I used a thumb pin to make it fit.
2. Original connect buckle is too big for this bar. ??
3. Heli fly unbalance, going in circle.

Finally had to put back my old balance bar which have a tiny plastic chipped off and with cellophane taped on both ends. And Heli is balanced again. I thought buying a new bar will make it look a little better. But this balance bar is so unbalanced compared to a slighly broken bar?? Other thing about this bar, the weights are larger than the original. Got this from 'Active Living' fullfilled by Amazon.

While this balance bar was a direct replacement, it is not the same as the original balance bar on my S107. It fit well enough, but the weights are not the same and my S107 was no longer stable during flight. The weights were not pushed in all the way, so this may not be the same for all of these, but for the one I received....it was not balanced and there was no way to fix it.

I didn't realize this wasn't OEM... so I'm out a few bucks. I'd suggest buying the OEM one to ensure correct operation.
