I dont advise buying this. The regular remotes work way better. This is a cool concept and I hope they perfect it in the future, I experienced way too many glitches and just used the regular remote in the end

I purchased 3 mini-helicopters for Christmas presents (and also one for me). When I saw this I thought it would be great to control my helicopter with my iPad2, so I purchased one.
I followed the directions of charging the unit and when I plugged it into the iPad, it would not power on. The only time it powered on was when the plug was partially into the iPad (so the unit just dangled, but didn't work).
I sent emails to the support people and when I got replies, I could tell they were from different people because either they'd want to know about the problem (from the beginning) or they'd want me to do something that I had already done earlier.
I finally had to request a refund (which they did).
I really liked the idea of this device and would have liked for it to work with my iPad2
Neat little addition to my SYMA,

This is a great little addition to my SYMA helicopter. I find that the Gyro mode is a little hard to operated but the normal setting works great.
