Avoid this charger at all cost, as another reviewer said, it is definitely wired incorrectly. When I inserted the charger into the helicopter, the blades started to spin even though the helicopter was in the off position. I then smelled smoke....coming from my computer. This lovely little charger shorted out two of my USB ports on my computer leaving a lovely burnt smell. Be aware!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!! 0 Stars!!!!

I purchased this charger because my other charger stopped charging my helicopter. However this one also will not charge it. The light goes out when plugged into the usb and come on once charged but mine the light stays on all the time and never charges. Now the helicopter is not usable at all.

I am disappointed, this item fits my RC helicopter, it glows to show it is charging, yet the helicopter does not charge. the seller was prompt and courteous and the item was received quickly. I thought it was a problem with my usb port and tried it in 3 diff slots on my laptop and desktop and even a wall charger. I was not able to get my helicopter to charge with this cable.
In hind-sight, I would consider a hard-wired wall charger instead of this item.
