I have some of the same feelings as "D. Hull" in his review. I had always wanted a RC helicopter, but found them to be too expensive until recently. And then I found the Spy Hawk RC LT-711 RC helicopter. When I bought this, I thought the built in digital camera with mini-SD card that can be activated via remote was a genius idea. It was a sleek looking helicopter with a camera, lights, and the price was great. It looked too good to be true...and it was. Here are my observations from my experience in the few days I have had this.

1) The instruction manual is the worst one I have ever seen...EVER. It was written in broken English and is riddled with grammatical errors and other statements that just make no sense. To begin with, it is a small leaflet with 8 pages, 2 of which are pictures of spare parts (but, of course, there's no instructions on how to actually replace any parts should something break). First let me say that I've wanted a remote control helicopter for most of my life, but they were way too expensive and complicated when I was a kid. Now, as an adult, I finally see the prices coming way down so I took the plunge. I found this model at a brick and mortar store on sale for less than half the retail price. I've only had a chance to fly it twice, so keep that in mind. I'll update this review if my opinion changes though.

Overall the toy feels sturdy for being so light. The body is plastic but the landing gear and frame are metal. The package included the remote controller (which seems very cheaply made, but sturdy enough to do the job), a screw-on antennae that extends to about 20", a 1G MicroSD card (pre-inserted into the camera), a USB card reader, a spare tail rotor, and 4 foam balls with holes through the middle. This little toy was very satisfying. It did what was advertised and then some more. Don't worry about the instruction mannual. If you have any capacity to read between the lines you can figure out the mannual. Actually it was somewhat entertaining. The helicopter is very durable as it has crashed numerous times and comes back for more abuse. Don't fly it outside if there is any wind. The video camera is amazing and runs for as long as the helicopter is flying which lasts for five minutes or more. The quality of the video is better than was expected. I paid $104 plus shipping of $38 due to Christmas deadline but have seen it discounted at Frys for $70. Have fun!
