great receiver bought this for my airfield F/15 jet. receiver is nice and small fits in tight spot on my aircraft. bound great to my DX6i Tx works great could not be happier with it. has great range I tested it at about 300 yards give or take a few yards and worked great. will buy more as I need them shipped and received on time.

All the advertisements indicate this reciever will not work with a Spectrum DX6i. I just biught this receiver and it binds and operates with a Dx6i transmitter. Nice sice and worked first time. I would buy more of these when I get more planes. Came 2nd day Amazon Prime, Great deal.

You'll want this for your expensive, bigger, heavier, models with wingspans of 1.2 meter or more. Have used this for about a year with no issues and I have confidence it's a genuine Spektrum, not a cheap DSM2 clone. The cheap clones are okay for $30 foamies but if you're flying balsa models and you don't want to risk total destruction, go with a Genuine RX. It's worth it for the peace of mind that is something glitches and you crash, more than likely it's probably not caused by this product, probably more like an overheated or blown ESC, or a failed servo, or a control horn that ripped loose, or a motor mount that failed, etc... I have two of these that I use for my fast and bigger models. To truly enjoy the bigger planes, you'll need to fly themn out far and wide to let them free to explore all that space. With the the long antennas for more robust reception, you won't fear your RX experiencing a "shadow" or temporarily blocked signal from a certain angle where the RX gets...Read more
