If you want to get into Radio Controlled (RC) racing or high performance playing, the Slash is the most economical and rewarding route you can pick.

Its very tough, great for playing around the yard (bashing) and is plenty quick. It may be too fast for those under 8 years old, but it has a handy "training mode" that slows it down for those younger drivers. Older drivers will appreciate its ability to handle jumps, puddles and a variety of terrain.

Because there are many places to race these trucks, replacement parts and upgrades are plentiful. Most off-road RC tracks have a class for racing these right out of the box. There are even a number of very experienced RC racers that choose to run a "spec" Slash, just because they're fun.
