Brushed mode CANNOT be programmed with the transmitter trigger without the Castle Link USB adpater (another $25). Manual/description is wrong.

When I got this esc I threw it into 1/10 slash with 5700kv motor. As long as I use 2s lipo or 12cell nimh in parallel I have no heat issues. Although not labeled this esc is highly water resistant. I can skip puddles with my rc. Now it's in my 1/16 slash vxl and run in series with 4s lipo or 12 cell nimh. Omg. Stock vxl is a bit smaller but heats up like a meltdown. Sidewinder no heat. No driving profiles all tuning. When I hit the brakes hard it flips. When I gas it it'll wheely. Anyone with this rc knows that's impossible! I've limited my punch. Increased timing. Everything I can't do with stock esc. 2 thumbs up. I recomend castle creations sidewinder 1/10 esc for minis to anyone looking for brushless power without heat issues and needs the tuning capability for racing around.
