I have 7 of these and every one continues to achieve their rated MAH capacity. I have a sophisticated battery charger that can discharge and recharge almost any type of portable battery. Each time I have charged these Traxxas batteries the charger shows that the capacity rating and it is very close (within 30-40 mah) or above the 3000 mah rating. If you shop around you can find them for between $25 to $35 brand new, just use Google or Bing Shopping. When buying batteries you need to buy from a reputable source as it is quite easy to pass off used batteries for new. I think 2 of the ones I bought were used but they did meet the rated capacity when I did a discharge/charge cycle on them. Overall a very reliable and quality battery. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By John Washington "GT Racer" (Seattle WA) - See all my reviews = Durability: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Series 4 NiMH 7 Cell Flat 8.4V : TRA Connector (Toy) Bought this battery as a second for my truck. Its a 4200 so alittle more storage then the 3000 that came withe truck. The truck runs about 40 mins with this battery great fun. I noticed it also increased the top end speed a smidge. Will be glad to buy another in the future. |
