This is a great, durable, and fast motor.
You do have to soldier your own wires on it, but that is easy, educational and a fun learning experience (for me. Watched some youtube videos).
Before this motor, I had purchased a Traxxas Titan 12t; it was done for after three days. (I will never buy another Titan...Traxxas is a good RC, but the Titan is not.)
I highly recommend the Losi 12t 550. I use it in a 1/10 stadium truck. I bought 2 Losi 12t motors thinking that how hard I drive the RC that the motor would burn up, but it hasn't, and I've been running it hard for a couple of months now.
