This is the worst RC vehicle I ever owned. Very fast but 3 of the first 4 times I drove it something broke. I would not recomend for anyone. I dont even use it now, sick of buying new parts and fixing it all the time. If it was more durable it would be awesome because it looks great and is very fast.

My husband bought this to play with. It is very fast however on the 2nd time using out in our front yard the wheel hub broke off. Contacted Redcat Racing and was surprised to find out that there is NO WARRANTY coverage for this. The only thing covered is the electrical. Hate that I spent $180 and it is already broke!

Agree with other reviews that this is not durable. However, our problem or complaint was electrical. We had the rechargeable battery model. On the first day, before the first battery even needed to be recharged the speed controller fried. It was "under warranty" so called lifetime warranty but the part still cost $45 to replace under the "warranty" for only 10 minutes of use. You ship them the parts and they send it back. Not too difficult to replace but took a bit of study and a call to tech support to replace all the connectors correctly. They can be plugged in many different combinations and are unlabeled. Tech support was very helpful and I got someone within a minute.
The mechanical failure was more of an accident while someone was driving and I would consider it not a problem with the car. Mechanical repair of the body and drive train was straight forward.
Another issue is with the radio controller. It seems difficult or impossible to set the forward trim...Read more
