This review is from: REDCAT RACING TORNADO ~ S30 NITRO BUGGY ~ 1/10 SCALE NITRO ~ NEW ~ ORANGE/ BLACK (Toy) I purchased this item as a friend of my got it so it worked so well that i got it.... It works awsome but in order to start the engine i had to go to a RC shop nearby and the owner set it up for me( he had to regulate the servos, some nitro passages and other stuff) and afterwards it works awsome.
One important reccomendation is to break up your engine first. To do this you should drive very slowly and carefully the first 5 tanks then yo can and must drive faster but only after 10/15 tanks you should drive at full speed not before those amounts of tanks. I love it and its adictive!! Hope this review helps you... PS; BUY IT! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: = Durability: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Each step of the engine break-in required us to reset the carburetor needles to factory settings and start tuning from scratch, all over again!! A lengthy google search through online RC forums was required to even find the factory settings, why isn't this info included in the owner's manual?! After several days, numerous blisters from pulling the starter cord and countless curses, we finally got the engines broken in but on our first run the car rolled 3 times in the grass and threw the left front wheel dogbone rendering it as useless as the wheel on the Mars rover. Now I can't seem to get the shaft to stay in place for a full tank of gas even on level asphalt. Not that it matters much since...Read more |
