REDCAT RACING ROCKSLIDE SUPER CRAWLER ~ NEW ~ 1/8 SCALE ~ ELECTRIC ~ RADIO CONTROL

This machine is an excellent value for the money. While the wheelbase is too long for competition crawling, even in the super crawler classes, this thing is superb for anyone looking to get into rc rock crawling and/or just have fun with it. Just keep in mind it is a CRAWLER. Wide open on flat ground, a brisk walk will keep up with it, but that isn't what it was designed for.

Mine came with a faulty ESC that would stick in wide open forward throttle. After a brief call to Redcat Racing and submitting their warranty form on their web page, a new one was on its way and in my hands in three days. Excellent customer service.

I got this crawler on March 2nd, what a blast. It is really durable and surprising how much terrain it can go through.I have a very challenging yard with retaining walls, downed trees, and stumps. I also burn fire wood for a heat source, so climbing the wood piles is a very good challenge. I recommend tightening things every few crawls just to keep things durable. I also recommend the E403 twin battery adapter and another battery. The battery does take 5 hours to charge, so I bought a Duratrax Onyx dual charger which only takes 30 minutes or less-two batteries at a time. I thought the crawler was a good deal when I purchased the red cat. I gave it 5 stars because its ready to run for $240 bucks.Lots of fun, gotta go drive it now!

AWSOME is all I can realy say. Keep in mind that this is a rockcrawler and is geared to climb not to race. The 4 wheel steering and axle flex is awsome as well. The tires have excellent grip. Only thing I haave found is that when your climbing bigger rocks they tend to knock the center cap off which a little model glue fixes that. I give it 2 thumbs up!! Well worth the price!
