BACKDRAFT 8E BUGGY ~ 1/8 Scale ~ Brushless Electric RC ~ by Redcat Racing

This buggy is a decent size 1/8
It is very fast for its size and for it being electric.
I have several nitro rc cars, trucks, and buggies and they are really fast themselves, but this is for sure a very electric buggy.
It is very durable. Many other RCs that I have that are much more money than this buggy and it seems each time I race them, something breaks and needs to be replaced or fixed.
This thing, I literally beat this thing up- Flipped it nurmerous times in the street- I did scuff up the body- but not too bad and who cares- thats what the body is for! There was not any broken pieces or pieces that flew off. The buggy stays running, the reception for the radio it comes with is really good also. Was able to race it down 2 long street blocks and still have full control. I have had other radios that lose reception and the car goes out of control.

I really like the backdraft but i have to say that im MORE than disapointed because of the fat that i got the car...the remote...but no lipo batery charger...so i runned the car 30 min i have no way to charge the batery and i ll probably ave to buy a new batery charger as redcat hasnt reply anything to me yet overall i like the buggy but i think they need to be more carfeful with the way the pack their stuff.

When i tested this car, i noticed the steering will not work. I try to program it myself and i can't, it almost seems like the steering on the transmitter is broken. This is not ready to run if they make you program it yourself, will do an update if problem is resolved.

I finally got the steering to work when i reset the servo. The buggy is great and very fun to use and i would say extremely durable as i crashed it into the curb several times (acceleration is amazing and the speed is mind blowing) at a high speed and it was still alive after the many times i crashed it. A con other than the initial steering problem at first is that it doesn't drive in a straight line. It would be hard to notice at all, in fact you wouldn't notice it unless you looked for it.
