I am so glad that I ordered this part when I purchased my Night Vapor Plane. Let me explain. I am a true beginner in the RC airplane world. I have never flown anything more complicated than a paper airplane before. The Night Vapor was my entry into the RC world. Well hand-eye coordination has to be learned. And in a learning mode I am. I nicknamed my pilot persona as Crash Gordon, and crash I do. Flying inside I crash into walls, the floor, desks, tables, chairs. If it is there, I can crash into it. Outside, I crash even more. Well the Night Vapor was holding up to this abuse pretty well, until I cracked the engine mount / gearbox (this exact part). This was the first thing to go. So as I had this as a spare, I've put my Vapor back in working order, and bright and early tomorrow morning I'm off to try again.
