I bought 3 RC cars this Christmas one for each boy and my husband. This one is very fast and runs over my other son's Lamborghini. It handles grass and bumps. But as expected the batteries wear out fast and as they wear down it doesn't turn.

My 6 year old got this truck for his birthday, and he absolutely loves it! The range of the antenna is really impressive, and it turns well once you adjust the wheel alignment on the bottom. Not the strongest motor, but plenty of juice for a 6-8 year old. Fantastic value!

I purchased this r/c truck for my son based on the better reviews it got on Amazon and two other sites (as compared to other similar-priced r/c vehicles). However, the second time we tried running it (outside, on smooth pavement) the controller first intermittently stopped "talking" to the truck. We tried different batteries, and it still did not work. Because I purchased it so long before Christmas, it is no longer eligible for Amazon's return policy (30 days after purchase). My son was very disappointed, even more so because his little brother's toy still worked (who got a much cheaper r/c).
