My son got this from Santa this year. We charged the battery for 8 hours like it reccomended and then got ready for the excitement to begin. Here is what we observed.

SPEED:

At full charge the cars motor/battery is barely strong enough to get the car moving. It looks like it is being driven by a cautious drivers ed student inside.

TURNING:

As advertised it turns in all six directions. Unfortunately the turning radius it the worst of any RC car I have ever seen or owned. In a large open basement the car needs to go literally wall to wall to make the turn without having to stop, backup and try again.

BATTERY LIFE:

What battery life? The already underpowered car begins to show diminished performance after about 4 minutes of use. It is essentially dead in 10 minutes.

DURABILITY:

We have charged the battery and used the car 4 times and now he is bored with it. During that time it has not broken...Read more
