Dynamic Driving
The Bigfoot Ford Monster Truck requires very little assembly and is easy to roll into action once the rechargeable 9.6-volt battery pack has had time to fully charge (around eight hours) in the provided battery charger. Driving the Bigfoot is fun and easy using the simple controls on the transmitter by pushing and pulling the forward and reverse lever and using the left and right directional lever to steer. If the wheel alignment seems a little "off," a trim adjustment dial under the front axle can be turned for correct alignment.
The Bigfoot Monster Truck can maneuver easily over small obstacles and jumps, and it drives with enough force to push through light barricades, although crashing into stationary objects and dropping from extreme heights is not recommended. The ruggedness and detailed styling of the Bigfoot make it an engaging toy for older children that encourages creative play and helps stimulate the imagination. Care should be taken to avoid operating two radio controlled vehicles under the same frequency in the same area simultaneously. To avoid this, each Bigfoot Monster Truck vehicle and transmitter operates at either 27MHz or 49MHz and is clearly marked.

This review is from: New Bright - 1:14 Radio Control Monster Truck Ford Big Foot (Toy) We've been really impressed with this remote control monster truck, purchased for our 5 year old. The charge takes a bit of time (8 hours the first two charges, 4 hours after that), but are happy with how long the truck runs on a charge. Our son plays with it off and on during the day and can have a full day's worth of play before putting it back on the charger. It's not too loud, has a good front and back bumper that absorbs and doesn't damage the walls, or do damage to the truck.
The thing we like about it the most is that it's simple, and not too fast for a learning child. It zooms down the hall pretty quick, but not so fast it's out of control. Guiding it around the house is a challenge, but not impossible because it races so fast like some remote control cars I've used. The big wheels are rubber and flexible and allow it to do some some cool monster truck driving over other toys. We also like that doesn't have any amplified engine sounds that get...Read more 22 of 24 people found the following review helpful: By DaveWV "Dave" (somewhere in West Virginia) - See all my reviews = Durability: This review is from: New Bright - 1:14 Radio Control Monster Truck Ford Big Foot (Toy) Reviewed by my 13 year old son:
Definitely worth the money, I have had it for nearly 3 years now, it has been left in the rain twice, completely submerged in a creek, shot with soft air, BB and even 22 caliber rifles, driven off the roof, nothing has ever needed to be replaced, and it just kept on going just like new! It is so easy to drive anyone can do it. It is definitely an all-terrain vehicle, it will go anywhere and do anything. it has a nearly 30ft range and can easily be driven while riding a bicycle. The only reason it stopped working was I accidentally cut the antenna off, but that was my fault :[ 10 of 11 people found the following review helpful: By = Durability: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: New Bright - 1:14 Radio Control Monster Truck Ford Big Foot (Toy) For a monster truck, this is a wimp on the turf. Bought the truck for our grandson to play with it in our yard. He loves to run trucks around in the grass. This truck works fine on the carpet in the house or on pavement, but don't expect any monster performance on simple off-road grass. This thing just doesn't cut it outside; it just stalls out and won't move. Disappointing for a truck called Monster Big Foot. |
