If you over-tighten the screws they will strip. Tighten the rotor blade screws just enough to secure the rotor blade but loose enough to allow the blade to flop back and forth when you tilt the copter. This review is from: Main Blade Grips with/Hardware: BMSR (Toy) The main blade grip is the weak link in the excellent Blade mSR rotor system design. When the whirling blades make contact with an immovable object, something has to yield and at some point the tiny ball stem that captures the connect buckle to the balancing bar will snap off. These are tiny parts, smaller than the finger tips and tools that must work to replace them. The part is amazingly durable considering its minuscule presence. If a stem breaks away the helicopter will fail to rise more than a few inches and move in an unpredictable direction.
The main blade grips are sold in a set. It is likely that you will only need one part at a time from the set so when you buy the parts with hardware (four screws) you are probably buying a repair for two occasions. I bought three sets so potentially I will be able to repair the mSR six times if only one grip breaks at a time. The two grips you receive in the package / kit are identical.
