This bag is awesome. A piece of mind if anything happens to your LiPo. Here is the best thing, if a battery should go off, just send it to the manufacturer and you get a new one.

Is this usefull, yes. My glider went down, and I didn't even have to worry about the batteries on my way back - placed inside the bag, and that's it. It is just additional safety for a couple of bucks.

Also while cahrging, just place the battery there and enjoy the rest of your day.

Lipo batteries are known for their volatility, this fire retardant bag gives me peace of mind that my house and my dog is safe at home. I realize that is a bit paranoid, but if you do a search on the internet for the number of Lipo battery related fires, you too would quickly invest in a storage medium for them. (Several people have commented on how they store their batteries in military ammo cases)
