This is not a good product. I bought one as a gift based on the good reviews from others. We got the i-helicopter, plugged it in, and it wouldn't charge. It appeared to have a loose connection at the charging port. After trying several times to get the i-helicopter to charge, we returned it and purchased a 2nd one. We got the 2nd one within a few days, took it out of the package, plugged it in to charge and had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM! I'm returning the 2nd one. It's poorly constructed, will not buy one again.

Do not buy this product: it's the worst gadget I ever bought. Basically, the iPhone application works randomly and with such a high latency that it is simply impossible to control the helicopter. So the craft flies off at full power. If you are inside it ends up hitting the ceiling, whereas if you are outside it flies so high that it goes out of the control range of the iPhone (6 meters), the engine then stops and the helicopter hits the ground. After a few shocks like these, the device is likely not to work at all (this is the case with mine). Conclusion: 10 minutes of chaotic usage and then directly to the trash can.

After several attempts at getting this item to work I've given up and will be returning for a refund. The directions were incomprehensible - here's some examples:

"Enter former interface"

"Press this button to adjust the helicopter not right rotation" Hmmm - is "not right" left?

"Connect the USB to the charging slot on the transmitterier, transmitter red indicator lighting up".

"USB remains being lighting-OFF during charging time."

"After put the transmitter to earplug, the phone volumn itshould be to maximun"

And my favorite sentence:

"Off all other transmitter IR sender."

I'm surprised something that is clearly a shoddy product would even be available on Amazon.
