The hardware works perfectly - as I expected. The transmitter antenna however is loose. It will not stay in the recommended vertical position. It just flops down flat. I have opened up the back of the transmitter to adjust the spring tension on the joysticks as described in the owner's manual. While I was in there I paid particular attention to why the antenna was so loose. It is a rather simple plastic mechanism of a plastic shaft fitted through an plastic hole. I'm not sure if it is a tolerance problem or if a wavy washer was omitted or what, but I think a couple of wraps of dental floss will tighten it up.

As for the manual, everything is in there but it seems to be written for the user who already has extensive background knowledge of these systems. If that describes you, the manual will be fine. In my case I'm still learning, so I really need a bit more explanation of what all these advanced features actually do, and why I should or should not use them. That isn't...Read more
