Product Description

The F-27C Stryker blasts Charge-and-Flyâ?˘ performance out of the park with its high-power, 6-pole 1880Kv brushless motor, E-flite 30A Pro Brushless ESC with Switch Mode BEC, and 3-cell 2200mAh Li-Po battery that give it unlimited vertical performance and blistering straightline speeds in excess of 80 mph. To handle the abrupt wing loading changes of aggressive high-speed aerobatics without getting bent out of shape, ParkZone has molded the F-27C from its tough, lightweight Z-Foamâ?˘ material. In the air, you can choose between high rate for dizzying pitch and roll rates, and low rate for smooth control response during paint-peeling high-speed passesâ??all with the flip of a transmitter switch.

If youâ??re looking for a spine-tingling, adrenaline pumping Charge-and-Fly experience thatâ??s unlike anything else out there, this is it.

You get everything you need to go from box to sky in as little time as it takes to charge a battery pack. No gluing. No painting. No radio installation. No hassles.

Just Fly®.

Summary: strkernut.... 2010-03-04
Comment: this plane is great fun....I have the older version which is not as fast as this one but still plety fast!

if you dont have experience I would not get this plane...it is fast and most likely you will crash it into the ground...

good thing is..its pretty durable ...it has a break away nose cone...a rear mount motor and a body of styrofoam...

check out my rc universe blog for more info and mods....[...]

Comment: Amazing power from this electric motor - more than many Cox engines. Power/weight ratio is impressive as it's foam. Not easy to fly... requires a huge field (baseball diamond too small) and lots of self training (like to turn oposite direction when flying toward you). I've crashed mine and glued w/epoxy many, many times (also replaced the nose cone at least 4 times and motor mount). Just an amazing plane... but not really a "toy"!

Comment: I purchased the "plug and play" version of the Stryker so could use my own radio and receiver set. It's really hard to believe, but you can be down at your local field (a park is probably too small) and have this thing screaming up and down the lane at close to 100MPH in about 25 minutes. Put on the nose cone and tailfins, install your battery, and fly...That's really all there is to it. With the included brushless motor this thing will accelerate vertically until it's out of sight. Also, repair parts are super-cheap and readily available. Minor repairs are easy, considering this is just a big hunk of styrofoam.

It's definitely not a toy, and it's not for beginners (perhaps if you kept it under 60% throttle or so), but is high fun / low hassle for a great price.
