I can say without a doubt,that this landing gear for me lasted a long time. I banged my first copter up pretty bad during the learning phase.I broke or replace just about every part on it. The landing gear began to break on one side and finally the rail fell off. Well I did not order a new gear right away because I wanted to try to repair with some epoxy, but it later failed again. You can make it last only so long before you have no choice into fixing it. So I would recommend go as long as you can and then order you a new landing gear. Not only does it bring your copter back to new, but will help your frame of mind. The landing gear is very reasonably priced and once you learn to fly your copter you won't need to worry about replacing it anymore. When I finally learned to fly mine that's when I put back most of the dented/broke parts new again--- part by part. My old copter looks about as good as my new one.
