All told, a great toy for the price. My 5 year old is getting the hang of it, and it responds instantly to changes. Fan power is quite strong, makes it fast, yet challenging to control.
Battery life is of course too short. running on the water is not possible as the nose just starts diving underwater. If you pulse it slowly, it will work on the water, but that isn't much fun.

I had problems when first hovercraft delivered was defective. Contacted the company and in very little time they sent me a replacement that is perfect. I followed the directions and was off and flying in no time. This hovercraft is. Great to fly around the gym at the school where I teach . It's a thrill and very educational for the students. I am really interested in getting some spare batteries so the fun can continue for years to come. I have seen many reviews where customer like hover craft but have battery issues. you can buy replacement battery for hovercraft from TNT toys for $35 they are fast and easy to work with. Enjoy flying your hovercraft.

I was so excited for my little boy to get this toy, and it started off as one of the most awesome toys ever, but after the first play, the battery will not charge anymore, and we are left with a useless hovercraft. I am pretty sore about it, as my son is so disappointed that he wanted to take it to the lake this weekend, and it will not even charge up to get out of the garage.
