I have purchased a lot of ARF's in my time, but few have ever showed up in such perfect condition with little left to do but install the engine, fuel tank, servos and radio gear. Typical for Seagull Models, the Decathlon is built with more quality than most ARF's, which also translates into a little more weight, but well worth it! The most common statement about this plane is, "You get a LOT of airplane for the money!" That is 100% true!
Most build articles stress the danger of this ARF being so short that it is difficult with ground-handling, but other than needing to be quick on the rudder to keep it going straight, it is not what I would call a 'hand full' by any means. If you know how to depend on the rudder for directional control verses a nose-wheel, you should have little problem taking off. Landing is much like landing a Trainer, or better said 'as easy as pie!'
