This review is from: Carrera Agent Black Race Car - 1:16 Scale (Toy) The good- long battery life (over 30 minutes), cars go fast, buying 2 is affordable, attractive styling, hobby-ish quality. Fun playing tag with 2 of them in dirt pits.The bad- steering is full left or full right or straight- makes driving down a path almost impossible. We've also had 3 part failures in just 3 months- car struts broke, the remote broke, and one car didn't even move when we bought it. Support was good though. Update after 6 months: Both cars stopped working entirely for reasons that are completely unclear. Maybe my son left the batteries plugged in too long? We tried switching around the batteries and remotes but had no luck. Given the reliability problems plus the steering issues, I don't recommend buying these cars. As well as Eric Fisk reports, both cars didn't start after not being used for 2 month. Tried to recharge the batteries, all channels, new batteries for RCs. No luck so far. One car -- possibly, but both?!Also in steering the cars were too sharp and operational distance wasn't superb. So far waiting for response from customer service. |
