Traxxas 5862 Big Bore Shock Complete Set for Slash

These shocks are all you need to look for in shock replacement upgrade on the slash. I have raced and bashed mine and still no failures. Very well made shocks. Would recommend to any and all slash owners out there. You won't be upset if you buy these! Hope this helps. I do like running the team integy progressive springs on these shocks though, thats just personnel preference.

The aluminum shocks are terrific and a huge upgrade from standard shocks. Although they are quite bland (no bling at all) they are way superior to the stockers. The caps quit popping off, they're much smoother and will make your rig handle better.

The only but is..... you'll need some new rear springs for sure and may "want" to replace the fronts. The rear springs are just too dark weak by a mile. Springs are cheap enough and simple as pie to replace.

hii for any one who is not satisfied with the stock shocks these are what you should get i bout these for my stampede vxl and they work great i know they are built for the slash but i ignored that theses shocks are amazing but dont put to much of the lubricant on or it ruins them :)
