If you love cars, you'll love our Battle Machines R/C Laser Tag 2-Pack - Chevy Silverado vs. Mustang! BATTLE MACHINES is a radio controlled, vehicle-based game of tag. Each vehicle is equipped with an infrared laser and an infrared sensor. The goal is to shoot your opponent until their vehicle is disabled. Controlling your vehicle via radio control is just part of the fun. We added an element of excitement that takes ground R/C to the next level of play: Radio Control Laser Combat. Your radio controller allows you to maneuver your vehicle strategically into a position where you can tag your enemy by pressing the fire button. The first and second hit you unleash on your opponent will cause their vehicle to stop in its tracks and rumble with exploding sounds. The third and final blow will cause your enemy to lose all control of their vehicle declaring you the winner!

My boys, ages 8 and 5, got these for Christmas. They have played and played with them. They do feel cheap but so far they have survived the abuse that young boys can inflict on their toys. It does eat the batteries, 4 AA's for each car and a 9 volt for each controller. There is no arguing over who shot who because the cars keep track of it for them. Overall I think it's a great toy.

I got this toy for my birthday and I love it! We play with it in our basement, and it is a lot of fun. Not surprisingly, it doesn't work on carpet. Overall, it was durable, and would be great for kids age 7+.
