Having pretty much mastered the co-axial,S107 I decided to try out the Air Max 9103 fixed pitch Heli. This copter is a complete different animal. It's very aggresive compared to the S107 but not nearly as stable and percise. I don't know if I got a bad heli, but to start out the LED light was not working. My first flight, it took off and hit the top of the garage door and slammed to the floor. The plastic Head cover broke as well as the cabin lock which holds the head cover in place. The heli took off so fast that it didn't even give me a chance to trim it out. Glued the head cover as well as the cabin lock and tried again. The heli is very unstable as it tends to drift to the side. I have the rudder stick all the way forward and it doesn't go anywhere. When i hit the left or right rudder, it wants to orbit very fast. If you don't have enough space in your house, you will be crashing it constantly. I'm a little disappointed in this heli as i thought that it would be as stable and...Read more

3 channel single blade helis are not good. If you see a video of this heli and it's doing something it's not suppose to be doing, then that's even more reason not to get it. If you want to move to a single blade heli, you should get a V911. Do a search on Amazon. It's a 4 channel heli. It's stable and more appropriate for in house flying.

A three channel fixed blade Helicopter sounded good at the time.

First the Good.
1. You get about 8 minutes of flight with it.
2. Stable as in not spinning.
3. Very Fast.
4. It has a USB charger

Now the Bad.
1. It drifts to the left, because it is only a three channel there is NO side to side control. In short you can't keep it
from drifting to the left.
2. because it is not a four channel its very hard to control, because of the constant slide to the left.
3. It has a IR transmitter so its only good for indoor use.
4. Save you money if you want an indoor fixed bladed Helicopter and get a Nine Eagles Solo Pro or a Great wall Xieda 9958,
both use a 2.4 GHz Transmitter.

I am going to try to Mod My 9103 to see if I can fix the drift.
