Air Hogs R/C Havoc Heli - Red and Black

Comment: This heli is classified as a toy but it really is a mini RC helicopter. It is fun to fly indoors in very close quarters. The heli is great for any kid from five to a hundred.

Comment: After reading reviews from other customers I chose this Air Hogs RC Heli as a present for my 10 year old son. The package was received promptly and in good condition with no problems. However, after calibrating the rotor (as indicated in the manual) and my son flying it (altogether within a half an hour, or one charge)the tail splintered making it no longer usable. During the few minutes that it was functional, I must say it was very challenging and fun albeit short lived.

Comment: This is a fun and durable little toy that would make a great birthday present. Just make sure there are no breakables around as it take a few tries to get the hang of flying it. Also, it doesn't work to well outside if the sun is out. Playing with this makes me want to check out other Air Hog products. If you're not sure about getting it, my advise would be to buy it. It's worth it IMO.

Comment: I didn't expect much because of the price. However, I did expect the toy to exceed (if only by a marginal amount) the sales claims. Five minutes of flight time? More like three and then two. Never got it to turn to the left regardless of the amount of trim. It was tough and would bounch off of the walls, refrigerator, etc. It has to be tough, because the Heli only can turn in large right circles which means eventually it will crash into something. Finally it just won't lift off anymore, after about two months. Spend more money....get a better toy.

Comment: We bought a havoc heli for our 9 year old grandson for Christmas, and my hubby was hoping he would leave it at our house so they could both fly it. Well, grandson took it home so I had to buy my husband one to play with at our house. They both love it and are getting better each time they fly it.
