This is a very good airplane. Do not by this airplane if you do not have an open field to go to, you need about 3-4 acres. It takes about 10-20 minutes to charge, and you have about 8-15 minutes of flight time. The airplane has a 2 engine turn system,so make sure you turn away from the object about 30 yards(90 feet) from the object it self - it turns slow. It will take about 3-4 days to completely master the flight system for a beginner. The maximum altitude is about 50 feet with a range of about 100 yards for the controler. I absolutely love this plane, and I highly reccomend you to buy it.

First, if you've never flown any RC plane, you are probably going to crash more than fly. (not for little boys or the inexperienced) It's not simple like an RC car. 2nd. Airhogs are inexpensive 2 channel RC planes (toys) that do not use elevators or ailerons to climb/dive or turn. Instead it uses engine thrust to accomplish both tasks. (vectoring) The trim on the plane had to be fully adjusted one way for it to fly, but once that was fixed, it flew like a champ! Throw it into a light wind with the throttle at full and it will fly. But any high winds will backhand it and send it crashing even with a lot of experience. I've had mine 6 weeks now and have crashed it into 4 trees, stuck it on a roof, landed in a storm drain, and been attacked by a stray cat! but's its very durable. I lost 1 landing gear so i removed them all since they're essentially worthless anyway. I hand launch and fly over large grassy fields. I will probably buy another one or two because you cant beat the price...Read more

First, please understand this is a very minimal RC model airplane. There are only 2 channels, one for the throttle and one for turning. Full on throttle makes it climb, throttle off makes it descend. Most of the time. It is a small lightweight plane. But, it works! Our best flight was a complete circle and maybe half way around into the next. And this is our first time. We had enough control to stay away from the brambles at the edge of the field. We have never actually landed the plane. It's mostly a controlled crash, maybe a cartwheel, but so far no damage. Definitely more fun than the old balsa wood gliders when I was a kid.
