I had a bad crash and boom my Tali Unit went out, Just got this part today and it works fine IMO it fly's better

Tools i used

1)needle nose pliers
2)4" Wire Ties 10cm "i got mine from advance auto"
3)Wire Snips For The Ties
4)micro screwdriver set

To Remove the old shaft simply look at the back of your 9100 for a black box with the signal sticker, on the side's of that box is a screw on the left & on the right simply remove them two screws and cut away the Wire Ties.

Remove the canopy there is a screw on the bottom of the canopy you need to remove to do so.

The wires you are looking for is blue and white , red and black they are plugged in by two pin connectors.
To make it so you do not for get what goes to what. take two different colored sharpies color the two pin connector and the connector socket with one color and the other with the other color.

My RC9100 copter has been sitting for a few days partially disassembled. It all began when I noticed that I was having to adjust the controls more to keep it from spinning round to the right. Eventually even with the control trim adjusted all the way it would not stop. I decided to do some eliminations of what could cause this problem and determined that it was the tail unit. If you sat it down on the floor and tried to get it to rotate in both directions you could hear a slight change in the pitch of the tail unit rotor, but nothing like it was suppose to do.I knew I needed a new one, but just to prove I was right I took the old one and took it apart. First thing I found was a short where the light is, but that wasn't the problem. After taking the motor apart one of the brush arms was broken and the other side was worn out as well. After a pretty rough crash from about 150 ft in the air, I had to replace the entire tail. I was actually surprised the whole chopper wasnt destroyed. But this is a pretty durable helicopter. The tail unit was bent and had to be replaced. As usual, the item arrived ahead of expected delivery and the part was easy to replace. Had no problems with disassembly and reassembling the helicopter. Pretty easy actually.
All in all I am pleased with the way things went in regards to replacing the parts after the crash.
Kudos to a job well done.
