7435043 RC 540 Motor 58148

This motor is a direct replacement for the 1/10th and 1/12th electric vehicles.

FEATURES: Original motor with motor lead pre-soldered. Leads
also have bullet connectors. This motor
has the end bell "crimped" on, and can not be removed, or
the timing adjusted. Brushes are internal, and can not
be removed or changed. Motor has brass bushings, not
possible to install bearings.

INCLUDES: 1 motor w/ leads pre-soldered. **No capacitors on motor**

SPECS: Motor diameter: 1 7/16" (36.5mm)
Length: 2 1/4" (57.2mm)
Shaft accepts standard size pinions.

COMMENTS: This is a standard 540 motor, and can be used in most R/C cars.
Motor will require capacitors in most applications.

We bought this in a Tamiya Durga kit for Christmas for our son. It's pretty much the base line motor. It moves the car well and has decent speed, but power is an issue. The Durga is a 4 x 4 dune buggy style racer and some snow gave it some trouble. Now all of us in the house are not RC fanatics and the car does still need some tuning, so improved performance could still be had. I would recommend this to 1st time 'higher end' RC cars that come in a kit.
