Summary: Altitude problems 2010-06-20
Comment: My shipment arrived on time just before Christmas and it was easy to assemble and my son liked it. It seemed a little flimsy, but durable. HOWEVER, I think it is important to note that the plane will not fly at "high" altitudes.
In other words, if you live in Colorado or any place well above sea level, don't expect your plane to get off the ground. I even worked some expert aeromodelers, the best of the best, and we could not get the plane to fly more than a few feet.
Summary: rechargeable batteries never worked 2010-03-14
Comment: One shoddy piece of merchandise. The rechargeable batteries never worked, the charge lasted for about 1 minute, and it never provided enough power to lift the plane even once.
Summary: CG Issue 2010-02-01
Comment: Nosed over into the ground on first launch due to CG issue. I moved the battery rearward and this fixed the issue. After repairs the aircraft performed as advertised. It is a little tricky to land in a confined space but will climb high and glide well.
Summary: What A Disaster! 2010-01-17
Comment: I bought this for my 7 year old son for Christmas and regret it. The cockpit cover did not fit properly, the antenna would not attach to the remote control (threads were not compatible), so the RC unit was useless. Fortunately, we had another RC unit that worked on the same frequency. The plane was flimsy, but the engine was not strong enough for the plane to take off from the ground. My hubby had to throw it into the air and even then it didn't have a lot of power and was difficult to maneoever. When it inevitably crashed, it was so flimsy that the wings had to be taped to repair them, throwing off the weight ratio. Thanks to this plane, my son was in tears of frustration on Christmas morning after he and his father tried for over an hour to get it to fly. It hasn't been used since then, because we can't bear to waste any more time with it.

Comment: The airplane is a grate plane for begenners who want to start flying. it is durable and verry easy to fly. If you do happen to break the plane it is pretty easy to fix. I don't recomend flying it in winds over 5-7mph. battery life is about 10 to 15 min. the plane won't take off from the ground so i recomend hand launching it. For the price of the plane i beleave i got my moneys worth. All and all i beleave it is a good buy.
