This boat is great, maneuverable, and fast. The minimum charge time is 2 hours. It's good in pools. Also great in lakes. And it's very durable.

I bought two of these for my son as a X-mas gift. First mistake, there is only one frequency available on the radio control so two boats cannot be used simultaneously. On Christmas we charged and ran both boats one at a time until both batteries died. I followed the instructions, removing the battery after use and allowing both boats to completely dry. Two weeks later we tried to use the boats again, strangely not one but both boats were stalling. The boats power would just come and go.
For the one day it was alot of fun but I'm placing both of these in the trash and my son and I will move back to radio controlled cars which is alot more stable.

Ours has about a 100' range,about 15 minutes run time at full bore.This thing is so much fun.My Grand son loves it.
