Antenna on one of the tanks broke with-in the first week, but was easy enough to fix. Fun Toy, great for exploration around the dark basement. I suggest a gel target if you want to use the Airsoft features. The tank had most of a charge already so he got to play with it the first day. We read the instructions and kept to those restrictions about where it can be driven and the tank performed wonderfully. It's still a joy for him. As for the gun, not a big issue. He only shoots it outside. The plastic pellets it shoots couldn't really do any direct damage to anything except maybe an eye at very close range. I stood in front of the tank at about a range of 5' and had my son shoot me in the leg. I felt the hit on my jeans pantsleg but not even on my skin. I would recommend this as a good buy for the price. Make sure to read the directions!
