Mini desert truck,

This has to be one of my favorite minis. Out of the box this truck performs very well. The truck uses a 280 motor that gives you plenty of speed and enough torque to spin the tires and kick up dirt. This two wheel drive truck will actually handle better than my other 4wd minis. It includes all the batteries, even the double A batteries for the radio. The rechargable battery gives you plenty of power and a decent run time, my advice to you is to buy a peak charger, 30min to charge is better than 5 hours. The chasis on the truck is very durable and light which allows it to jump very well. Also this truck looks so good with its mean body and realistic roll cage. This is a must have to rc car guys.

I bought this for my 9 year old Godson. It is probably a little advanced for his age (the box recommends ages 14+), but I wanted an RC truck that would last more than a couple of months and could be repaired if anything breaks. Needless to say, he loved it. This little truck flies. It is definitely something he will continue to play with and can grow into.
It includes everything you will need to get it running. It truly is ready to run (RTR) right out of the box. It comes with the fully-assembled truck, battery pack with charger, transmitter, and 8 AA batteries for the transmitter. You will not have to buy anything else to get it running the same day.

The other reviews already say it - Fast, Fun, Durable and truly Ready-to-Run. I bought this for my 7-yr-old daughter so she would have a toy that we could both play with. I knew it was a little advanced for her, but she has taken to it really well after a few hesitant starts. Its too fast to run indoors unless you have a lot of experience. Plenty of room really helps. On gravel it flies and throws stones behind it. On grass it gets bogged down, but keeps going. On a big, smooth surface, like frozen-over snow, it ran as fast as my cat! Expect occasional ball-pops when you hit things, (where the little steering components come apart at the ball joint) but they go back together pretty quickly. A child won't be able to fix a ball-pop - it takes a strong grip on small parts. This thing has been abused, but it took months to finally break it.
